For philosopher Ken Wilber these developments signify an evolutionary transition from the mental consciousness characteristic of both animals and humans to subtle consciousness, which is archetypal, trans individual, and intuitive, to causal consciousness, and then ultimately to consciousness as such. Super consciousness, integral consciousness, cosmic consciousness, turquoise-stage consciousness, and consciousness as such are all […]
Species Universe
Welcome to the "Species Universe" category, the cornerstone of our exploration into the ultimate mystery: solving the Quantum Conundrum. This category houses articles that delve into the profound connection between consciousness and the physical realm, uniting insights from science and ancient traditions. Here, we challenge the materialistic mindset, encouraging an expanded perspective that embraces the non-physical and non-local origins of reality. Quantum Mechanics and time-honored traditions alike point to a unified source of existence, often referred to as "Nothing." By letting go of purely materialistic views, we can unlock deeper understandings and truths about our universe. This category serves as the foundation for our journey to uncover the missing link that unites all aspects of existence.
Extended Awareness: The Possibilities of Quantum Consciousness – Huffington Post (blog)
The quantum mind or quantum consciousness group of hypotheses propose that classical mechanics cannot explain consciousness. It posits that quantum mechanical phenomena, such as quantum entanglement and superposition, may play an important part in the brain’s function and could form the basis of an explanation of consciousness. It is proposed that the wave function collapses […]
The Illusion of Existence: How Being Made Out of Nothing Dictates Reincarnation
Bridging Quantum Mechanics and Vedic Wisdom to Unveil the Eternal Cycle of Life Introduction The nature of existence has fascinated humanity for millennia, and modern science now converges with ancient wisdom to challenge our very understanding of reality. At the heart of this inquiry is a profound assertion: what we experience as “something” is, […]
Can Quantum Physics Explain Consciousness? – The Atlantic
Quantum Horizons: Exploring Consciousness Beyond Classical Boundaries The enduring question—Can quantum physics explain consciousness?—has intrigued scientists and philosophers alike for decades. Inspired by The Atlantic’s thought-provoking article and enriched by insights from the Closer To Truth video on the quantum brain, we’re invited to re-examine the age-old mystery of how our minds emerge from […]
There Is No Time. There Never Was And There Never Will Be
The Illusion of Time People have struggles with how to define time for as long as we have been alive. Time can be both really short and very long. It can be so hard to think about time both in the sense of what is going on currently and what has been going on […]
“Consciousness as an Anomaly” by Dr. Peter Russell
Peter Russell the futurist gives us a great explanation of how to begin to understand Consciousness as a genuine anomaly like Einstein excepted light having a finite velocity as a genuine anomaly to give us Relativity.
Quantum Mechanics and Consciousness: A New Measurement By Dr. Bernard Haisch
So, are we the master or matter of our ship? Well everything from physics indicates that to matter we have to master!
The best thing we can do for yourself then is get acquainted with the subject of Consciousness becoming a part of Physics possibly the main player.
To do that you can watch Dr. Bernard Haisch’s video above and you can help by leaving not only your comments below but also your questions so that I can work on answering them in future posts.
Those actions will make us all wiser therefore more of a master and then we’ll definitely matter!
“Species Universe: Discovering the Universe as a Species” by John Zettel
Species Universe addresses the consequences of the Quantum Conundrum pointing to the equation of the observer and the observed as gaining expression in such movies as “Mindwalk” and “What The Bleep Do We Know”.
The consequence of equating the observer to the observed requires a new paradigm different than the materialistic paradigm of Western culture which emphasized materialism over the observer leaving out the reality that we are a part of the Universal experience and what that means.
In Species Universe I invite you to come and explore with me the implications of equating the observer to the observed through the act of observation and the remarkable direction it is taking us!
“Consciousness and Microtubules” by Dr. Stuart Hameroff
In order to have a conscious experience the brain has to be more than a computer. Dr. Stuart Hameroff explains consciousness as an aspect of Quantum Mechanics. Dr. Hameroff draws on the work of Dr. Roger Penrose pointing to finding a mechanism that would allow for non computability; i.e., free will. To do this Dr. Roger Penrose points to a need for a Quantum Gravity mechanism or a Quantum Computer mechanism in the brain.
Dr. Stuart Hameroff has found what is called microtubulars within neurons in the brain and nervous system as the possible location for where Quantum Computation takes place. Microtubulars seem to be small enough to incorporate super positioning making Quantum Computations possible.
Follow Dr. Stuart Hameroff on his search for understanding how and why we are conscious.
“Mindwalk” the Movie
Take a Mindwalk through today’s mind with me to discover our current paradigm!
A US politician (Sam Waterston) visits his poet friend (John Heard) in Mont. St. Michael, France. While walking through the medieval island discussing their philosophies of life they happen upon Sonja (Liv Ullman), a scientist in recluse, who joins in their conversation. The two men listen to the ideas of this brilliant woman and discuss how her ideas can work in their own politician and poet lives.
Mindwalk echoes the same message covered in “What the Bleep Do We Know” only it was made in 1992 and not 2005. […]
